It’s St George’s Day next week. Will you celebrate? How?

Just spotted on the calendar that it’s St George’s Day next week. We don’t normally celebrate but am wondering about doing/cooking something just to relieve the groundhog-day-ness of life a little bit. Something a bit fun - so maybe cream team and a silly game? No idea what though! Are you planning anything? Or any ideas on what we could do?

@MockersxxxxxxxSocialDistancing ahhh.... just re-read your comment that St Oarrick was Welsh. Not that David was Welsh as was Patrick Irish.
It's been a difficult afternoon....

St. Patrick brought his Welsh dragon to Ireland who incinerated all the snakes. When he got home St. George was waiting for them. The rest is history.

It is my daughter's birthday on that day so we'll be celebrating that. I'm not English either but I live here and all the in-laws are English, might sneak in a few St George references to the day 🤔

It is my DD's birthday too (there seems to be several of us with DDs having birthdays that day) so we will have enough celebrating already. I don't think I have ever really noticed any celebrations for it in previous years, but right now you should celebrate anything that helps you get through the days.
