Ridge on babies forehead

She has a ridge down the middle or her forehead, i googled (bad idea, i know) but now im all worried about it. Anyone else's baby had it? Google mentions a benign version and another that needs CT scans/ surgery?! I dont want to waste Drs time obviously in current climate but its worried me. Photo of my gorgeous girl to show what i mean x

My doctor's surgery are doing online appointments, and you are able to attach photos. They either call you to discuss or text you. So there is no need to delay seeking advice if you are worried. Fingers crossed for you it's nothing to worry about.

My son has a fridge. It's not quite as prominent but I got it checked by doctor. They asked me to go every 3 or 4 weeks to the health visitor for head growth measurements. Then 3 months later go back to the doctor to reassess

The growth was fine so in my sons case no further action.and continued monitoring.

I would get her checked and start the monitoring (if that's what they advise for you) it's important and definitly at the least to put your mind at rest.

Surgery is for if it restricts normal growth of the skull. I think many ridges are not so bad that any intervention is needed
