Radio 2 - Rylan and his mum

Why does he ring his mum? God its painful listening to them. The grammar? She sounds like she has dementia...I know she hasnt.

I love them, they seem to have a great relationship, always make me laugh, it must be very nice that now he's got a bit of money that he is able to treat and look after her

I love his show.
I listen to it every Saturday on a long drive back from visiting my elderly parents (outside of lockdown).
His relationship with his mum is amazing. I enjoy their banter.

Is it the strong Essex accents you don’t like?

I listen to Rylan with my dad on a normal Saturday, i love him and surprisingly so does my old heavy rocker dad! I love a proper accent nothing worse than listening to RP accents!

I agree with OP, I find it tedious in an otherwise great show. If I listen on catch up I fast forward.
