On another thread and I recounted something said to me that was so hurtful to me because of circumstances at the time.

I had a miscarriage at 19 weeks whilst working away in America was hospitalised and on my own.
When I came back a close family member said “it was God’s Will”
One of the few times in my life I have been lost for words but looking back now I think the person saying it, as a devout Catholic, actually believed that!
