It's clear why we need to support small/medium, independent, tax paying businesses right now. I'm fortunate that I'm in a position to spend a little extra if necessary and I recognise that a lot of people aren't so if that's you, please don't think this is a pop at you. I know for a lot of people budgets are tighter than ever and the future is uncertain and I completely understand the impact that has on your choices. I'm not sat here wondering what decals to get on my private jet exactly, but would like to choose small/independent for the purchases I am going to make. So with that preamble out of the way, does anyone want to recommend a business to me?
I live in the North West, I like milk chocolate, bakery products, red wine, lounge wear, books (new and old) and vintage/industrial furniture, all of which I may be in the market to purchase in the near future. I'm also likely to be buying some vinyl. I'm a milk wanker (full fat organic unhomogenised ideally). I'm toying with commissioning some art work of a pet (for which I've already received some recommendations but happy for more). I have a 40th birthday and my mum's birthday to buy for in the next few weeks. I'm going to be buying cushion pads at some point too.
I'm looking at ordering some treats and some fruit/veg via the makers market at the moment in case that helps anyone North West based:

If anyone has any recommendations which cover any of my other categories I'd love to hear them. And if anyone wants suggestions for something different/in a different area it would be great to get something going although threads I start invariably fall flat so I don't have high hopes!
