I dont mind the odd American, but much prefer British. Will try most genres apart from comedy. So what are your favourites.
I have the choice if Netflix, Prime and Now TV.

Oh dear shoshe, how bad is it that I spoonerised your title to Sex Bots?
What about Outlander or Vikings?

Shosha1 · 17/04/2020 16:19

@haba Outlander us my all time favourite. Have watched every series lots of times (508 at least 3 times this week)🤣
Watched all of Vikings.
Waiting for Series 4 of The Last Kingdon to start next week and need something to get me through till then

It's sooo good.

OhioOhioOhio · 17/04/2020 16:26

House of Cards, I know it's from the USA but it is brilliant.

Shosha1 · 17/04/2020 16:32

@OhioOhioOhio maybe its political ones I dont like. Didn't like West Wing either.

Trying to think which American ones I did like. ( It may also be that DH watches all the different NCIS and such over and over again)
Programmes I have like this year have been the one with Orlando Bloom ( can remember what it was called
Chernobyl was brilliant.
Cobra, really enjoyed that.
The Nest was great.
I loved Jamestown, think that was 3 series.

The English version of House of Cards is superb & ever-relevant.

MockersxxxxxxxSocialDistancing · 17/04/2020 16:47

Depends what you like.

On Sky/Now TV: Brittannia is mad as a druid off his face on mistletoe broth, and I love it. Westworld is the greatest tv show ever made. The Affair is addictive for all the wrong reasons, seeing what made Ruth Wilson quit in tears. And there's always GoT if you have a few spare years.

rosie561 · 17/04/2020 16:48

Line of duty on Netflix?

RhymingRabbit3 · 17/04/2020 16:50

All 5 series of Line of Duty are on iplayer now.

Breaking Bad is on Netflix. I know most people have seen it but I just watched it!

I also read it as Sex Bots

DaydreamingDay · 17/04/2020 17:50

Delicious. It's brilliant!!

BarefootHippieChick · 17/04/2020 17:50

Designated Survivor is turning into 24...

Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul, both American but both brilliant.

c3pu · 17/04/2020 17:51

The Crown

jess3817 · 17/04/2020 17:55

We've started watching Save Me - only 4 episodes in but seems really good so far

ChestyNut · 17/04/2020 18:00

Thirteen on i player is really good! Has the villain from killing Eve in.

Vicbarbarkley · 17/04/2020 18:04

No Offense
Brittania
Black Sails
Penny Dreadful

No Offense and Brittania are the best though 😁

Shosha1 · 17/04/2020 18:08

Did Line of Duty last week. Have watched Thirteen at least 4 times ( Richard Rankin 😛) and I'm way passed old enough to be his mother.
@MockersxxxxxxxSocialDistancing Britannia sounds good (Have you tried Beowaulf)
Dont like Killing people Eve
GOT not for me.

Loved The English Game although I hate football so can be swayed into things I wouldnt usually watch.
