Thoughts on big screen mobiles?

Tell me about your big screen mobiles - is it too big? Are you happy with the size? Any downsides?

I'm updating my ancient phone and deciding between the relaunched smaller screen iPhone SE and the big screen XR. Thanks.

Big phones just don't fit in my pockets!
I'm using a seven year old phone because it fits in my trousers and I don't want to replace it with a big one.

I think that is the only negative I can think of, and it could be a deal breaker...

Mine is quite big (Samsung Galaxy) and I'd choose a smaller one. It doesn't quite fit in my pocket and sometimes my fingers and thumbs don't stretch far enough so it's uncomfortable to hold - first world problem!
