Will dissolvable tablets work in milk

My ds2 has a headache and even now he’s now 14 he won’t take normal tablets. He only drinks milk and water with the occasional fizzy drink which I prefer for him to have. I would imagine in water it won’t be a pleasant taste. Can he dissolve it in milk?

What I did when our son was very young was dissolve the tablets in a very small amount of water, this ensured that the tablet had dissolved fully (I'd leave it sitting for about 5mins and then stir); and then mixed that solution with something else that our son would drink.

Does he drink squash at all? I dissolve movicol in lemon squash to disguise the taste. Fizzy flavoured water also works.

can you get the capsule form, break them open and mix the powder with jam.

and practice tablet swallowing with smarties or tic tacs.

He doesn’t no. He only drinks milk and water really.
