Hello all,
I was due to partake in the Great Manchester Run in May to run 1/2 marathon. This has now been moved to the 6th September (if it goes ahead, of course), however I will be 8 months pregnant and even with the best will in the world, I don't think I'd manage at that point.
I've raised £190 for Plan International UK so far, a great charity that works with impoverished communities across the world focusing on girls and young women, providing education and opportunities and fighting against FGM and child marriage amongst other things.
Anyway, I just wondered whether anyone would like to take my place. I'd love to see the place used and for the sponsorship funds to go ahead. I'm happy to change all details into someone else's name (you could run or walk 10k or 1/2 marathon), and I'll change all details on the justgiving page too. All I ask is that you're serious about doing it.
