Asda home delivery quick question

Managed to get a slot for my elderly Dad this Sunday: new account, usually with someone else (who are supposed to be helping vulnerable customers and have been hopeless.)

Just logged on to add some items and there is no option to Amend Order, only Cancel Order. It's due on Sunday, so I should be able to amend until at least tonight.

Any ideas, oh wise MNetters??!

Yes the 48 hr amendment window is just a temporary thing to help Asda cope in the crisis.

I believe that at the moment you can only amend your order 48 hours before, I think it’s up to 10pm the night before. This is to relieve pressure on the website. Try tomorrow or Saturday.

But today's Thursday, so I should be able to amend up until 10pm tonight - is there usually an Amend Order option visible?

I've been making a list then amending the order about 8 or 9 pm evening before delivery.

Oh I see. I can amend 2 days before. I read that as I can only amend up to 2 days before. Hurrah! I understand now. Thank you

You will only be able to amend on Friday to Saturday.
When you go into account it's on a banner at the top informing of this, they haven't changed this info on emails or website, at least not clearly.

In normal times you could go in and amend the order multiple times right up to late evening before delivery.
They've changed things to slow traffic on the site.
They request that you only amend once

The amend button will appear tomorrow I think.

I find it best to check and amend around8 or 9 evening before delivery as you can get more accurate idea of what they have in stock.
