Handhold please (TW - pregnancy loss)

Posting for traffic.

I have been TTC for a year and had three losses. The first two were early natural miscarriages. The third one was a MMC at 8 weeks in January which took two rounds of misoprostol and then finally a D&C to sort out.

Sunday before last I had already considered myself out for that cycle but I did a FRER in the middle of the afternoon and got a very very very faint line. Went for a blood test on Monday morning (6th April) and the result came back as 6. My period started that night and I bled heavily for two days and lightly for another three. (I usually have light bleeding for two or three days so this was unusual for me.)

I had a round of day 3 blood tests done during my period and all my hormone levels indicated that I was at the very beginning of my cycle. My progesterone level was close to zero.

Fast forward to today. I decided to start doing the Clearblue Advanced ovulation tests which you're supposed to start a week before you expect to ovulate so you can catch your estrogen surge. I thought I would see a blank circle but I got a static smiley indicating peak fertility. I thought it was broken so I did a cheap OPK and got a positive on that as well.

So then I decided to do a pregnancy test just to rule it out, and it's obviously positive. I have a strong line on a cheapie and a FRER, and a Clearblue digital that says 1-2 weeks.

None of this makes sense and I'm worried this is going to be ectopic. The dates just don't work. I bled so much last week that my uterus can have no lining right now. My progesterone level last week was basically non existent.

Has anyone heard of anything like this happening and what was the outcome? I'm waiting on blood test results and have emailed my doctor.

Really sorry you’re going through this. I’m partly bumping in the hope someone more helpful comes along, but also to say the dates on clear blue tests can be unreliable. I experienced that myself and have read that a lot on MN too Flowers
