At a loss with my Kindle...

Can somebody possibly help me? I have a kindle device and once upon a time had it linked to a laptop. I now neither have that laptop or the connecting cables I don't think.

I've purchased some books on my online Amazon account - but how the heck do I get them on to my actual kindle.... does anyone have any ideas or inclination to help me? Ever so grateful for assistance for a technical idiot....

Have a look at the Ethan Justice books.
Fantastic reads.
The 1st one is free so you can see if you like it.
I often have a look by price and get a few free ones in a series to see if I like them.
If you have Amazon Prime lots are free.
Sort by customer reviews as well.

Try Stuart McBride, his crime drama are great.
Podcast The Tartan Noir gives lots of recommendations of crime books.

Sign up to kindle daily deal. Books for 99p and you get sent an email. Also look on the computer for the kindle top sellers. Some of these are good deals too.

I found LJ Ross good and Valérie Keogh too. Also the DI Nash series.

I have a kindle subscription account - read a lot!

I've discovered Diane Jeffrey recently and have read three. I loved them all and would highly recommend if you like a good thriller.

@KaliforniaDreamz Yes, you can set up a family sharing account with two adults and at least one child.

I pay for Kindle unlimited which means I can borrow up to 10 books at a time for no additional charge. I can read a book in a day so this works for me although I recently found out I have 275 unread books on my kindle. Need to get reading ....

The thought of my kindle not working fills me with dread at the best of times

And me. it's one of the few things, other than the dishwasher, that I would replace as soon as possible if it broke or I lost it. I might even break the habit of a lifetime and pay for next day delivery or pay extra to buy from a shop, rather than wait for it to arrive on slower free delivery.

Mine died and now i have the books on my phone which explains why i am still reading hte same book since 2014 fgs
