Do stereotypes still exist?

Just wondering if stereotypes still exist in the UK, especially in big cities where there are higher levels of diversity.

I would consider myself to be very open minded, but I sometimes feel like I unintentionally judge people on their appearances and their accents. I feel like I can tell how much money a stranger has based on the way they look or speak for example.

Do you stereotype people even though you try not to? Is that even possible? Or do you just think you're open minded when really, you're not?

Not really. As a Scottish person I’d hate the typical drunk and tight arsed stereotype to be applied to me.

Of course, understandable. Reminds me of the Uber driver who asked me which tower block I lived in when we were approaching my house. He was shocked that I lived in central london AND in a house. I wonder what he must have thought about me from my appearance. He knew nothing about me
