Anyone having to postpone a Butlin's holiday?

I can't figure out how to do it.
I need to postpone ours because of the whole Covid thing.

The phone number is switched off and I can't seem to make head nor tail of advice on their website.

I believe it's entirely possible to postpone but just can't figure out how...?

If you're on Facebook there are pages for each resort. Loads of advice on them.

There's an online statement from Butlins saying that holidays while Butlins is closed can either be rescheduled or repaid.

Not sure how you contact them about it though.

We were due to go tomorrow and received an email with options to change the date. Check the junk folder from the email that received the booking confirmation.

@Stompythedinosaur that's exactly what I wrote in my OP. 😂

Hi OP - I think they like you to email - with ref number, date of original booking, and the new date you would like (if you want to re book). We had booked for Friday 20th March, the first day it closed. I emailed and they rebooked us pretty quickly.
My children have been watching butlins on YouTube ever since- sad hey? 🤪.
Good luck x

difficulttod · 16/04/2020 08:49

We were told to email them via [email protected]

We had to state what date we wanted to reschedule to and had to put the original holiday date and how many nights it was for in the subject

They responded quite quickly, within a few days, and our new holiday has been rebooked

Hope this is helpful!

Yes, I did it. Exactly as PP says, email the above address with all your information and date you want to change it to. I changed mine to next year, it was more expensive but they waived the extra charge and got back to me within 4 hours.

I've emailed them thanks so much for your help.

No need to be so rude DontBite . I was trying to be helpful. If it didn't hit the mark, may be appreciate it came for a good place?

DontBiteTheBoobThatFeedsYou · 18/04/2020 07:12

Oh don't be so sensitive, good lord.

I put a 😂 to show I was saying it in jest.

There wasn't an ounce of rudeness. Some people really love being offended don't they?
The 'professionally offended' is a term ive heard and fits nicely right here.
