Adverts that you dislike....

I’ve found I’m watching more live TV and I really dislike the Ebay advert it really, really annoys the hell out of me....

So I thought I’d ask for adverts that you dislike?

Any of the new social distancing, coronavirus based ones.
'Nanas long distance lamb' from Tesco and the pregnant lady going on and on about things to remember after lockdown from Nationwide are two of my very big pet hates at the moment.
They both get muted instantly.

Fucking annoying. Lockdown is shit. Don't try to make it lighthearted, fun and use it as your selling point. Fuck off.

Also the British Gas one a PP mentioned. It's grim.

OH the Kellogg's one with that annoying song that's a language I don't know and the woman in the office walks up to the man and steals his cereal. ANNOYING

The one with the whiny old woman who, 'really cares about other people', so when something went wrong with a medical procedure she decided to go to some ambulance chasing personal injury lawyers. The only reason you would do that is to get money.

If you really 'cared' about people and 'didn't want it to happen to anyone else' you'd make a local complaint or go to the GMC.

I would mind less if she'd said ' I just wanted some compo' rather than claiming she's doing it for altruistic reasons.

Also the Tampax advert. So bad and unnecessary.

Is the Ebay one you mean the one that refers to 96 seconds? Is that the time the pregnancy test takes or the time they have sex for?

It doesn't make sense to me.

I hate the eBay one too. Glad it's just not me.

I rarely watch live tv and just download everything onto my Sky box and fast forward through the ads. Hence miss most ads

For me it's the ABCmouse advert they play continuously on milkshake (channel 5 kids morning TV). Just hate American adverts in general really.

Gosh - I love that one. A strong image of a young lady. Interesting that you think it’s for a supermarket…

Most hated for me is the Mr Kipling one of the brother at the adult party. He eventually gets hold of a cake to take home to his really ungrateful sister.

Nasty adults and a wholly dysfunctional family portrayed beautifully. Way to go ad agency!

The one where the woman makes a cup of coffee at the hairdressers and the British Gas one that just makes me feel really queasy. I'm sure there's loads more but I watch a load of stuff on streaming TV and catch up so I don't have to watch them.

I've been waiting for a thread like this.....
I despise perfume/aftershave adverts where they try to be all intense but I particularly hate the one with Kiera Knightly in with that song by Sia in it. Makes me want to throw something at the screen every time it comes on.
I've always said that if I ever went in Room 101 I would put perfume ads in there!!

Any where a baby talks with an adult mouth superimposed on it.
Like the aa advert with the Tina Turner song. I used to live near the road where they filmed it and the drive in different directions on it about 3 times.

There's an awful advert for cereal I think, where a dirty woman just aporoaches her male colleage, gives him the eye, then digs her hand into his bowl of cornflakes and shoves them greedily into her mouth. Foul. Makes me angry!!!
