Quiz sharing questions (& answers!! 😁)

Hi, to try to keep family entertained during isolation I’ve been doing quizzes where each family links up on skype. It’s been going great but as quiz master i need to find questions each week (and verify the answers!)
Due to kids and things I’m struggling to fit this in so thought maybe this might be a good place where we could maybe add random popular quiz type questions (and answers) that we may know then it could be like a reference point if other people want to use.
So far I’ve been googling them but keep finding the same things now.
I’ll add some In a while that I’ve used so far but if others could that would help me hugely.
Thank you!

A couple of geography ones...

What are the only two double land-locked countries in the world?

What countries have the highest and lowest population density?

Sporcle?

You could do

  • a connections round with musical clues from the song titles.
  • list as many type question for a set time limit.
  • top 5 items e.g. list the 5 most expensive properties in Monopoly, list the 5 African countries beginning with E etc.
  • Picture round with a theme

Just three wrong.

steppemum · 16/04/2020 17:44

oo, try again

Mongolia has to one of the landpocked ones surely?
Kazakhstan has the caspian sea but no way out to the ocean, so it is controversial as to whether it is classified as land locked.

Ok, is Kazakhstan the least populated? I didn't think so.
Also, depends on what you call a country. I am guessing somewhere like Monaco may be more dense than Singapore?

WarmSausageTea · 16/04/2020 17:48

Mongolia is land-locked, but it isn’t double land-locked, because it’s land-locked by China and Russia, neither of which are land-locked.

And yes, Monaco is - according to Wikipedia - the most densely populated country in the world.
