I was sexually assaulted by someone who I thought was a friend just over 14 years ago.
I almost reported it at the time but something stopped me. I think at the time I didn't think it would be taken seriously. Young and naive, I made it known round our friendship group.
The last couple of weeks have brought up these memories. His sister has moved to my area and has posted on our local facebook a couple of times. We had a couple of run ins years ago and I'm concerned that her children will be moving to my kids school.
I also saw him today, I had to collect something from work and when I was driving back I saw him out walking.
Can I at some point report this but ask them not to persue this. I cant help but wonder if he has done it again/will in future and if he has/does I think I would like it on record that he has before.
