Hello girls, firstly I need to apologise as this post will have things from the “down below”... so if anyone feels uncomfortable please just stop reading, if you don’t mind talking about these topics, thanks for reading, hopefully you can help.
So It has been nearly 20 weeks since I gave birth to my LO, I only tore with a small second degree, i needed a stitch and that was all. No more issues, no forceps used, good and quite speedy delivery but I had epidural as was induced and with oxitocin dip.
First days after birth my clitorus and everything there was so swollen and sensitive... but problem is I have been soo numb down below and so dry 4 weeks after giving birth. The worrying part is that my clitorus has like shrunk and it is obviously smaller than it was pre baby and it is not as far as sensitive as it was before... I can’t reach orgasm as easily as before it feels like a wave of “feeling ok” but not reaching THAT, iykwim.
I have being doing kegels but nothing, my gp says that everything looks normal, i have been on a specialist on pelvic floor and she can’t see any reason for that... i am thinking it could be hormones then? But i am not breastfeeding so i am so lost and scared this never goes back to normal. Has anyone experienced this? How dis it resolve? How long did it take? Xoxo

I think you are right about hormones- have your periods come back?
It took ages for everything to feel ‘right’ for me- I mean around 18 months. I was breast feeding, and had other stuff going on, and I think it just took a long time for my body to recover.
