I am a key Worker and still working (not in retail).
I remember Sundays as a child fondly. Very busy family the rest of the week but on Sundays we would play, do DIY with Dad, wash the car...
The atmosphere I am feeling at the moment (outside shopping duties and people who are wirking in food retail industry) is reminding me if Sundays as a child. Everyone is a bit more 'in the moment' and less rushed. There is a community spirit. Children are getting involved in jobs etc.
I know this is not true for food retailers but I am going to endeavour to treat Sundays more like they used to be. Not a chance to catch up on work or other duties for the week ahead. I feel like I've given so much to work, that now the world has slowed down, I can see what I am missing.
Anyone else?
