Another bloody Hermes one

Hermes supposedly delivered my parcel today. They didn't. 3 of us were in and there was no knock (not unusual tbf). The "proof of signature" is GPS tracking at a spot 50 yards away and across the road.

How the hell do I speak to an actual human about this?

The online assistant doesn't help as it's automated. The only time I tried their 0330 808 5456 number, putting in the tracking number got me "it's been delivered" and no other option. Now their phone lines are closed for the day. Gah!

They’re absolute shits. They wouldn’t even speak to me about the parcel they hadn’t tried to deliver but hadn’t sent back to the sender either. They say speak to the retailer. I know they’re busy but their customer service is shite.

I got onto the retailer, about 1h40 on hold Hermes had damaged the package but only send them back every 8-10 weeks apparently. The retailer refunded.

I know that’s a different situation to yours. Good luck getting it sorted.

You need to speak to the retailer, they're the ones which the contract with Hermes. They should refund you.

They have lost 3 parcels of mine/my DHs in the last 2 months which is quite spectacular really.

I've emailed the retailer. Can't be arsed to phone at this point.

Given how embarrassingly useless they are, you'd think they'd have changed their name by now. Olympus would have been in chaos if the god Hermes was like them.

Me and DH call them Herpes, they're certainly more disease-like than god-like.

hermes have had my parcel for 3 weeks now and keep saying sorry it's delayed, neither them or the company i've bought from will admit the parcel is lost or issue a refund because they are 'still investigating' 🙃🙃

Hermes are bloody useless! In the past 2 weeks I’ve had 3 separate parcels that I’ve tracked to be out for delivery then suddenly it changed to delayed for 48 hours as my address was wrong apparently (definitely wasn’t) then all 3 that were due on different days got supposedly lost..

It’s an absolute nightmare to get in contact with them too!
