How could I contact Stormzy .... ideas please ....

So I am thinking ahead to my teen daughters upcoming birthday and no party lockdown. Her father is seriously ill and she has had a really tough few months as we all adapt to this and his ongoing treatment. The pandemic has added another layer to all our lives. I have been having to care for her father and try and manage everything, so this has been a difficult time for all of us.

Usually she would have a big sleepover or party and none of that is possible. So, my idea, was to see if I could ask Stormzy if he could message her on her birthday. She is a massive fan and could be a way of making her birthday special. This is something I wouldn’t usually do but I am trying to think of something special for her.

I have looked on Twitter and Facebook but can’t seem to find “his” page to message him. I’m not asking anyone to divulge personal contact information, but rather how I could get a message across to him and at least ask him!

I though I would ask the power of Mumsnet for ideas as my own googling has not thrown up anything.

It’s worth a try contacting his agent but please don’t get your hopes up. I work in the music industry and people that are as well known as him are very hard to get to. A producer friend of mine tried to get some vocals from him paid a few years ago and never succeeded so I think getting a free video message would be even more difficult. He won’t see private messages, tweets etc as he will be getting so many. Are there any other music artists she likes? Try the Fiverr website or something similar where many artists and celebs sell personalised video messages.

Not Stormzy, but if there's anyone else you could try Cameo.. you do have to pay though.

I think he's with WMG. Try phoning 0207 938 0000 and ask for stormzys management assistant's email address. If they ask what it's about say it's a charity request and they probably won't ask questions. Or you could try [email protected] make the subject line "FAO Stormzy Management Assistant" Keep the email short and to the point and be clear about what you want as they get literally hundreds of requests a day and the vaguer they are the less likely you are to get a reply. G'luck!

Fyi I'm not at all advocating pretending to be a charity but every request, commercial, charitable or personal usually goes to their management assistant first so it's the quickest way to get the right address without going into a long winded explanation with the receptionist.
