Hoping to go back next year. Normally do a villa but thinking of a few days in a WDW resort hotel for the perks. Kids are teens now and need separate beds.

I think for the budget we could get one room in the contemporary or two interconnecting rooms in swan/dolphin. The contemporary has more “wow” factor, but I’m thinking the space and the proximity to world showcase for food would be a good thing.

Thoughts?

Look at AKL. Some of their rooms have bunk beds. Ok may be not ideal for teens but separate beds and a good hotel.

Also you could look at Saratoga Springs or the one next door which name escapes me as they have studios, one and two bed villas. I love it there.

Old Key West is the other one.

Also Art of Animation do suites but I don’t know they layout of these.

Old key west all the way.
Sean/dolphin isn't a Disney owned resort so doesn't have the same vibe.

There are no bunk bed rooms at AKL now. AoA suites are fab but cost more. That’s what we did last time

CurlyMango · 14/04/2020 20:52

The AoA suites also have two bathrooms plus kitchenette

We're looking at next year with older kids. I've got my heart set on Beach Club, best pool on site and they have 2 doubles and a day bed. On the WDW hotel site you want to be looking for sleeps 1-5 as these rooms will all have a day bed or sleeper sofa allowing you to all be in one room.

Disney normally offer free dining for UK bookings for next year in April, but that isn't up yet and might be delayed this year.
I'd head to The Dibb forum to tap into some exceptional Disney expertise.
