Ideas for occupying one child when working

That doesn't involve a screen?

I have to work from home and I'm really busy and as he's our only I feel very guilty for ds

Obviously I have worksheets that school send but I need to try and be more inventive and have a timetable

He is 7 and attention span is really short I try and get him settled with an activity and then he concentrates for about 15 mins before he comes up to me. I'm not getting any work done!

Help!

This suggestion is probably one to add to your repertoire rather than the answer to your prayers, but maybe try one of those ‘orbit’ tennis stick things in the back garden? It’s an easy solo game for children and can keep them occupied for a fair while (generally speaking).
