Anyone got a good recipe for split pea soup?

Google Nigella’s split pea and frankenfurter soup. It’s absolutely gorgeous. We make it with veggie hot dogs.

I was just about to suggest you Google Nigella's split pea and frankfurter soup because it's divine. I also use veggie frankfurters

Mug full of split peas, put in soup pan and fill 2/3 full with veg stock. Simmer on low light for 1-2 hours until peas break down. Add chopped onion, 3-4 Chopped up carrots and about half as much chopped swede as carrots. Simmer until veg cooked then mash with potato masher. Simple but good.
