Random item sent in the post, in my maiden name?

And not my maiden name that I had before I got married either. The actual name I have on my birth certificate that I haven't seen written in over 15 years, and haven't seen anywhere beyond my birth cert.

I've seen that someone else in Mumsnet today has had something odd sent to them too and they're unaware yet who's sent it. I don't have Alexa though

The package contains a tube of conception plus (it's a lube to help TTC). No amazon history saying I've ordered it. And I don't really use amazon anyway.

For reasons I won't go into, we are sticking with just one DC Sad

Is this some sort of cruel trick from someone we know, do you think?

Was it from China? Or via Amazon? There was a lot of this going on fairly recently and it seems some companies do it to fiddle the books.

Something to do with how many orders they send out.

To clarify, they send a cheap item out to make it look like they have more orders. As a practice, it's called "Brushing"

Check this article though as it can mean your security has been breached. Look carefully at your bank account. Any odd, small payments you don't recognise?
