Bleeding at 10 weeks

Hi everyone I’m writing on behalf of my friend. I’m just trying to see if anyone had had anything similar happen. She has been having some spotting for up to a week only a couple days though. No pain other than a little bit of cramps which started yesterday.
Am trying to be positive and tell her this can be normal and could be implantation bleeding. Has anyone have any positive feed back? She has her 12 week scan next week x

Don't panic. If you search for bleeding on here you will find hundreds of threads. Bleeding isn't normal but it is very common. It might be a problem but for many many people it won't be. I've had spotting and haemorrages this pregnancy and baby is fine so far (13 weeks). Fingers crossed for her x

I bled a few times in early pregnancy, (bled on and off from 6 weeks to around 12 weeks) I had to get early scans because of it. I am currently cuddling my baby to sleep.

raspberryk · 12/04/2020 21:52

I've had bleeding at that stage go both ways.

shreddednips · 12/04/2020 22:17

I had bleeding at a similar stage (and later) and my baby is fast asleep in the next room. Wishing your friend all the best.

Bleeding has never ended well for me but my friend has had multiple episodes of bleeding during her pregnancy and everything seems fine so far (third trimester now).

How bad are your friends cramps? I hope she's ok.

Honeyyy44 · 13/04/2020 08:47

Thank you all you lovely people for sharing your stories with me, it’s always nice to hear that not everything has to be scary and the worst outcome. Her cramps are quite mild I just hope things are okay at her scan.
Really appreciate your replies xxxxx

I bled in every pregnancy - lost two early on, two successful. By far the worst bleeding was the pregnancy which resulted in the Minecraft- and sugar-crazed 9yo currently yelling downstairs...

Thanks again everyone.
Im also 17 weeks pregnant and had some cramping last night never had it yet but it was sore enough to keep me awake. I have had no bleeding so I’m just hoping this will be growing pains. I called the midwife and she said to take it easy just xxx
