I have never understood the appeal of the Beatrix Potter books. I find them weird and creepy.

I loved the illustrations.

My DC loved the one where the fierce bad rabbit gets his tail shot off by a hunter

Mrs Tiggywinkle is one of my favourites.

I never rated any of the Michael Rosen books which was a pity as he was my DS’s Y2 ‘chosen author.’ Funding a character from his books for World Book Day was a challenge.

I used to loathe one called something like Bumpus Jumpous Dinaosaur Rumpus as it was really difficult to read 😩
