Has anyone ever been a distributor for these lot? A friend is currently trying to rope me in but seems too good to be true.

Nope, don’t even think about it. I have several friends who’ve done it. All talked about how they would retire from their jobs. Live a life of luxury, more time with family.

They’re still working their normal full time jobs, moved back to live with parents, less time with their dc because they basically had to work a part time jobs evenings and weekends running their pretend ‘business’ and now everyone thinks they’re a big idiot for hassling them to sign up for years on top of having no money and no free time,

That's exactly what I thought - bullshit. Wondered if I was being a miserable cynic though. Pleased to hear my instincts were right.

I have a friend who does it and frequently seems to go to conferences where they praise each other. I always wonder who pays for travel etc for these conferences.

Sounds a bit cult like! 😬

I have an old work colleague who I have heard from twice in 15 years.

Once when I bumped into her in Waitrose. The other when she contacted me completely out of the blue to catch up for old time's sake and oh by the way could she just ask about where I got my gas and electric from....

Nope.

If it looks too good to be true it probably is. As the saying goes.

I don’t know anything about this mob but I’m presuming it’s some kind of selling pyramid scheme. If there’s no capital outlay by all means find out more. If you need to pay upfront forget it. I remember being lured in by promised that Avon could make my life so much better and all the commission would fairly add up - and the reality was that was way more trouble than it was worth!
