Hello everyone. Like a lot of people I suppose I'm thinking about life at the moment, and some life goals.
What I'd really like to do, when we're allowed, is take my DC aged 7 and 12 on holiday somewhere in Europe where they can experience a bit of culture. I'd prefer warm but it doesn't have to be hot.
Any ideas?
I think I'd be looking at a week to 10 days, maybe more than one destination. Maybe a bit of train travel?
It would need to be budget (my usual budget is 600 to 700 for a UK week away), I'm thinking up to 1500?? Is that nonsensical?
Wouldn't need to be the summer holidays if that keeps the price down and I don't mind hostels with a family room, or cheap accommodation if anyone has any tips.
I have pathetic schoolgirl French at my disposal.
