Diamond painting questions...

I found a diamond painting kit amongst my crafty bits and bobs the other day so plan to start it at some point today.

Do I peel off all the clear film then replace it over any unfinished bits? Or try and co-ordinate holding it out of the way?

And, what's the little pink square for?

Just bought our first for doing during lockdown ,we've just peeled off a bit at the corner and filled that corner so far,it takes a very long time especially with helpers,the pink square is glue for picking up the diamonds ,you use the pen tool,press it into the square and then pick up the diamonds,redo when it stops picking up so well.

@Bingeslayer I suspect I will have a helper too .

Thank you, I'll start in a corner & work my way down it. I was considering having a look and buying one but won't need to now :)
