Neighbours blasting music and signing

I know we are all stuck at home, and it’s tough. It’s a lovely day, the rest of Easter will be crap.

I wanted to spend the day gardening and the reading in the garden. My neighbours have been blasting music since 11am. THey are Now signing the eye of the tiger - toe houses next door to each other. I couldn’t bear to be in the garden, I am inside with the windows shut and can still hear then. It’s better than the techno music that was coasting for two hours I suppose.

Why are people so fucking selfish. I can’t be the only person they have driven inside. They are clearly very drunk, and I know it’s daytime, but why do they think they have the right to ruin everyone’s enjoyment of their gardens. It’s not like I can escape.

Sorry, rant over

Get some headphones on and listen to some music of your own. Have a wee dram n get out into that garden.

Sorry for the typos, angry typing!!

Selfish fuckers are still going.

offence is the best method of defence - sing opera loud & offkey

Itwasntme1 · 11/04/2020 18:46

You are right! I think with lock down I am just over sensitive. I would normally just hop in the car and get away from it. It seems to matter so much more now that I am trapped here on my own surrounded by these idiots 🙄

Surely the signing is fairly silent Grin

Now if they were singing...

(i know,I know, I can't type either...)

Bit mean to be complaining about the deaf.

Same here, kids have been screaming for fun, baby crying for most of the day, loud music and a random beeping noise. All in the neighbours back garden. I don’t normally care, but today it’s really getting on my tits.

Weather forecast is rain tomorrow, so my one day in the garden is gone.

Irrationally angry about this.

Well I suppose they had a lovely day, just at my expense😊.

Dunno I'm quite mellow about that sort of thing.

I get a lot of people hate it though.

Sorry you're feeling pissed off. Hopefully they won't do it again tomorrow. Probably be hung over so you will quiet till lunchtime probably!

Itwasntme1 · 11/04/2020 19:48

Thanks beet. I think it’s mainly lockdown alone at Easter. I wouldn’t normally be home, I should be in a cottage with my friends drinking wine and chatting and laughing. Not sitting on my own in the garden (or hiding inside with all the windows closed).

The rage came from nowhere, I think on third karaoke yelling of eye of tiger.

Its what I imagine it’s like to be round a pool in benidorm😂.

Can you do an online meet and drink with your friends?

I have a few friends living alone it's tough. TBH it's tough on everyone irrespective.

Our neighbors have a huge family and do massive BBQs till about 1 on sat in the summer most weekends. Which I know would drive a lot of people mad! I like being around people though so it's a happy noise iyswim.

Yesterday I felt sorry for them as all that has stopped. They were looking a bit despondent.

Yes it's hard on everyone.

Make the most of the morning my guess is they'll be sleeping in Grin
