Easter Sunday dinner

What are you having? Are you having to make adjustments due to the lockdown? (We had to have fish fingers yesterday instead of actual fish or chippy).

We couldn't get lamb 😭 so will have roast chicken, roast potatoes, Yorkshire puddings, peas and gravy.

We couldn't get lamb either but we're having roast beef and all the trimmings.

Were having Steak, Chips,Onion rings and veg.
Dd will be having Chicken nuggets, chips and peas
Hot chocolate fudge cake, ice cream.
Probably have a couple of bottles of wine aswell🍷🍷

Takeaway...maybe Greek lamb 😋

Roast chicken for us. I found Yorkshire puddings in the freezer and have a huge bag of potatoes.

We’re having beef rather than lamb as Sainsbury’s didn’t have any small joints of lamb and it’s only me and DP to feed so seemed wasteful to buy a great big leg

Ordered two roast turkeys with all the trimmings and mini egg brownies from a local pub that are doing delivery. I am not a fan of lamb too fatty

We are having roast lamb and chocolate brownies courtesy of the pub takeaway as our food shop comes Monday.

We’ve only got 1 egg each and not much wine but otherwise it’ll be pretty similar. It’s our DD’s first Easter and a box of toys came from MIL before lockdown (she’s overseas).

We are having steak pie, roasties and carrot and turnip mash, I forgot it was Easter Sunday or I would have done roast beef and all the trimmings!

Home made (in the pub) mini egg cheesecake for dessert

Roast leg of lamb, roast spuds, carrots, spring greens, cauli cheese and Yorkshires. Sticky toffee pudding and ice-cream for pudding.

We'll be having roast chicken here with new potatoes, broccoli, cauliflower, sweetcorn and peas. Pudding is some individual strawberry cheesecakes which I picked up in Tesco. We do have a leg of lamb in the freezer but we're saving that for a big family meal when lockdown is over.

I'm doing a cooked breakfast in the morning so dinner will be about 4pm .
I want to make it a nice treat will watch a couple of films in the afternoon.

Usually my favourite family meal of the year but DH is working and we can’t bring mum round, so really not bothered this year.
I have a small joint of beef in the freezer so will do that for me and ds(DD is vegetarian), and will do potatoes dauphinoises as they are minimum effort. Rhubarb and ginger cheesecake for pudding.

We used to have roast lamb but the kids have gone veggie so I wasn't sure...

I asked what people fancied and they said could they have roast dinner, just without the meat! So I've got a veggie nut roast, and we're having roasties, yorkshires and all the veg I can muster, followed by Nigella's Easter cake 😀😀

We’re having a pork roast instead of lamb. I did order a lamb, but what arrived with my online shop was about big enough to feed one of us. I didn’t even know a lamb leg came that small!

With roast potatoes, leek cheese and cabbage with apple sauce. Sponge pudding and custard for dessert.

Roast lamb and all the trimmings, I didn't think to get a dessert so afters will be Easter eggs I think..

We've got some lamb from the local butcher. Will do a Nigella recipe I think,. Her easter lunch calls for lemon meringue pie too which I'm not hugely in favour of.

I got a frozen nut roast and frozen veggie Wellington from Lidl on Thursday, so will decide which to have tomorrow. Accompanied by mini roast potatoes, carrots, parsnips, cavolo nero, frozen Yorkshires and good old Bisto. Yum!

We're having Roast Turkey - got a lovely breast joint from the butchers this morning.

Ottolenghi's lamb shawarma - it's currently marinating in the fridge. Absolutely yum. Will also do his roast butternut squash with tahini and zaatar, flat breads brushed with harissa, and tomato and cucumber salad.
