The Covid19 spring cleaning distraction thread.

I’m driving myself mad pottering from screen to screen. So spring clean it is over the next few days.

Have begun with proper dust and polish
Windows and frames inside
Thorough vac
Washing all the dog throws etc
Clean floors
Bathrooms
Have done the oven already.

What am I forgetting?
Tidying as I go, but we are fairly tidy with no young children so it’s not terrible.

I just took everything out of the fridge, cleaned it and reorganised it.
Vacuumed mattresses

Oooh vac mattress. Good idea.

I'm cleaning our entire duplo collection. I've never done it before and it's at least 8 years old so definitely in need.

How? Are you putting it in the bath? Dishwasher?!

I cleaned out those drawers that are filled with crap and reorganized cupboards.

Just saw a wee hedgehog in the garden that cheered me up lots!

Trying to use the extra time to finally sort the house out.

I've done quite a bit so far, luckily I was able to get to charity shop and tip before the lock down so I've got most of the decluttering done but now everywhere looks so shabby! Tomorrow i want to thoroughly clean the kitchen cupboards and sort the drawer(s) of crap!!

So this week I thought I would do one a day

Took apart the high chair and washed covers. It will never go back together again.

Soft toys that are in more constant use.

Fridge.

Tops of kitchen cupboards.

All beds, mattress protectors, etc.

Cushion covers.

Left all the more horrid stuff to next week.

Stoney nasty weedy garden.

Windows at back where constant farm vehicles drive by.

Tomorrow I need to do floors properly.
Might do a bit of weeding too.
