Bad toothache and lockdown

My tooth really hurts. Sad I have a wisdom tooth that is growing sideways into the back of another tooth and it needs to be removed. This appointment has obviously been cancelled for now.
The problem I’m having is the tooth it’s pushing against is not painful exactly but incredibly sensitive. I’m aware of it all the time. It feels tingly bordering on pain all the time.
What could be causing this? What can I do?
I’m worried it could be/ turn into a dental abscess and get really nasty and that there is no help available. Sad

I know how you feel as there are no dentists open, I called mine due to toothache and pain in a implant, couple of days ago, he rang me back and went through how i can ease my pain. Basically nothing he can do unless its life threatening (its not)then I could be referred to the dental hospital. Can you not call your dentist for advice?

Its a case of pain relief then hope it wont be too long before they are up and running again

My 16 year old is due to have a tooth extraction under sedation. Obviously it's been postponed.

It was causing her untold pain the other week. I called the dentist, gave details to reception who then passed it on to the dentist. Within an hour they called back and told me there was a prescription for antibiotics waiting at reception for me.

Call and speak to your dentist. They aren't closed they are just doing telephone contact and emergencies.

My dentist isn’t open because it’s the Easter bank holiday. I’ve called the number on their answer machine (guessing it’s an emergency dentist number) and can’t get through. I don’t think the emergency dentist will see me anyway because it’s not life threatening yet.
