I’ve got 3 children aged 8 5 and 8 months old. Garden is tiny. Lots of fights all day and a moany baby because it’s hot. I usually wait until 7. Too early?

No it’s ok. It’s a bank holiday.

anothernotherone · 10/04/2020 18:16

It's 7:15 where I live Wine

I'd get them to bed first to be honest though, so you can relax. Or get their dad to put them to bed if he lives with you and hasn't been pulling his weight... Wine

I've opened my birthday Champagne. Life's too short. Cheers!

I’ll be pouring myself a large glass of fine (or 3) very shortly. My two have drove me to insanity today Confused

OublietteBravo · 10/04/2020 18:21

I’m about to open the Prosecco which has been chilling in the fridge since this morning. The teenagers are in charge of the BBQ (under DH’s supervision), so hopefully I don’t need to cook this evening.

spinthebottle · 10/04/2020 18:22

@mommathatwearspink I don’t know how primary teachers do it! I love my kids and I’m so happy they’re safe and in good health but man alive I couldn’t do this with 30 kids on a daily basis! Ha!

Go for it!

utterflapdoodle · 10/04/2020 18:23

Certainly not. The start of "Magic Hour" was 6pm for the Queen Mum so if it's good enough for royalty...

TheChosenTwo · 10/04/2020 18:24

Oh get on with it!! I’ve so far sunk 2 cocktails Grin
It’s sunny, it’s good Friday, we don’t have anywhere to be, the kids (15, 14 and 8) are all playing something somewhere together. I’m in the garden, dh is firing up the bbq for some steaks in a bit.
I’ll drink to that Wine
