WWII AIBU

Too scared to try AIBU

But looking at how people have reacted to the current restrictions, I can't help but wonder how a WWII AIBU would go.

AIBU my cat likes to look out the window but I keep getting into trouble with the Air Raid people for letting light show. AIBU for letting kitty jump where she likes as it's only a little glimmer?

AIBU to think that her at number 39 has something going on with the butcher as she keeps coming home with extra sausages.

It's not quite the same, but thinking about that makes a nice change from worrying about loo paper.

No supermarkets back then iirc... "Dig for Victory" - make a vegetable plot if you have a garden. If not, why not dig up that area of municipal land near your home?

Nosy neighbours now on the alert for lockdown infringers rather than enemy agents.
