Credit card help

NauseousNancy · 09/04/2020 21:15

I have about 7k on a credit card, and the interest free period is due to expire. I have an offer on another card, which is either:

0% interest over 12 months, 3% fee
4.9% interest over 36 months, 0% fee

I’m paying around £850 a month towards it at the moment, and an extra £300 a month from August.

Maths isn’t my strong point - which one am
I best going for?

The 0 per cent interest then next year transfer again to another 0 per cent one. Don’t use the credit card again if you can help it. Good luck. Believe me I’ve been there, today not had a credit card in 15 years and never will again,

Can anyone help?

If you continue with your existing payments the 4.9% interest one works out cheaper.

There should be no reason I don’t continue with the payments the way I am just now. I’ve been paying £750-£900 a month since last August. (And £300 a month towards a loan)
