I have a vague memory of reading a book which I think might help someone I know, I’m tearing my hair out trying to remember what it’s called or who it’s by...
I sadly remember few details, it’s about a couple where in the beginning you think the husband is awful and really hard on the wife but as the book progresses you realise she is a functioning alchoholic.
I remember snippets, like her going to visit her sister (in London?!) and not having a drink so she wouldn’t know and her driving to pick up her child from a play date under the influence...
I’m struggling to remember more but like I said this book really resonated with someone I knows situation and I’ve now become obsessed with finding out what it is, I’ve just emerged from the loft after trying to find it to no avail 😩 any help would be much appreciated.
I also for some reason thought it was by Marian Keyes but I’ve traveled through her books on amazon and can’t seem to recognise this one.
