Would you eat it?

I wouldn't usually ask and just use my senses and my sense (have eaten have 3 weeks after its use by date which was fine) but I've only had tofu a couple of times and am not that keen on it, so I wouldn't know what it should smell like. If it looks obviously past it then I'll chuck it but if it looks ok would I be ok to use it?

If it is in a tin or jar, it should be fine.

If it is in a tetra pack, no.

If it is a fridge fresh pack, it should be able to walk to the bin by itself.

Oh just eat it. You’ll be fine.

I wouldn't eat it if it was in plastic as I would be thinking the plastic might have penetrated the food this is probably a bonkers theory with no basis in science

It's in a tetra pack.

I'll err on the side of caution then. Thanks!
