Wasps on climbing frame

Hey everyone,

So we have the chad valley funtivity climbing frame and the wasps are so attracted to it! It’s not wood but plastic and bright green I assume they’re attracted to the colour but my toddler keeps going to go through the tunnel and there’s about 5/6 inside the tunnel and constantly flying around the top. Now he’s fearless and does not care about them however I really don’t want him to get stung but he has an almighty melt down if we take him away.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to get rid of them?! I read online about fabric softener soaked cloth but if anything I think they like that more.

Please help :) any suggestions

Thank you all!

Add some sugar water to a pan add some lemon.
Take any plastic bottle. Put the top third off, this now becomes a funnel.
Add liquid into the bottom of the bottle, insert the funnel, the liquid should be about an inch below the funnel.
Tape the top bits together.
The funnel traps the wasps.
