Can I tell you all about Vodafone Foundation Dream Lab app? It's an Imperial College app which uses spare capacity in your phone to run supercomputer calculations for cancer research. However, a few days ago they launched a new project in the app to help investigate cures for Coronavirus.

If you do want to join in, after you download the app, choose "projects" and pick which one you'd like to support. I believe the phone has to be plugged in to run calculations and there is an option in settings to only allow it to work on wifi.
