Negative pregnancy tests yet still no period and signs of early pregnancy?

Bit of a long winded one but please bare with me;

Three weeks ago I noticed my period was a few days late, nothing unusual as the contraceptive I’m on can cause irregular periods and I usually get them in the middle of a pill strip, however not even a sign of spotting had occurred and that was abnormal as I typically get spotting before a period is due.
I bought pregnancy tests just to be on the safe side - two early detection and two normal clear blue. All four were taken over the space of the past three weeks yet all are negative, the last one I took was on Saturday.
I‘ve noticed especially over the past few days that my boobs have been achy, I’m constantly feeling sick and my back and stomach are really sore. Today was the worst day yet, my son who’s 15 months was sick on the carpet and as I was cleaning it up a wave of nausea hit me and I was also sick, which is totally abnormal for me.
When I found out I was pregnant with my son I had regular periods and I just had a feeling, first test came up positive also, however this time I’m not so sure but with no sign of my period coming and the constant pains in my stomach and back and the nausea kicking in I’m beginning to wonder if it’s a possibility I’m just getting false negatives?
Has this happened to anybody before and can you explain how you eventually got a positive or found out you were pregnant? I’m not overly keen on contacting my GP as we’re incredibly busy at such a stressful time and I don’t want to bother them if I can find out at home first.

I think you need to test again, first wee of the morning, and the cheapie test are often just as sensitive, if not more so, than the pricier digital ones. Otherwise, you'll have to either wait and see, or go to a GP (if you can get an appointment atm) if your symptoms persist.

if you have enough hcg in your system to feel symptoms, any test should pick it up. I'd try one more time maybe but the likely answer is just delayed period

Could be stress

Hi ladies, hope you don't mind me jumping on this post, I'm new to this so don't know how to start my own!! Lol.

So basically I'm 12dpo today, I took an ebay cheapie test yesterday morning and got an obvious positive result straight away, I used the ultra early 10ml test.

I've taken another this morning, different brand which is 20ml hcg and its negative. Do you think this is because it's still early and I don't have enough hcg yet for the 20ml one? Af is due in 2 days. I'll try and post a picture 😊 thanks xx

I have never had a positive pregnancy test. But my DD turned 3 today?
I took 3 pregnancy tests. All negative. Went for a scan for something else in the general area and there she was nearly an 12 week foetus.
