I have a baby and a toddler - can you recommend a decent first aid kit I can buy?

Things in ours:

  • plasters (obviously)
  • little sharp scissors (for cutting down plasters to fit little fingers!)
  • tweezers for splinters
  • burn gel spray
  • bite/sting cream
  • savlon or other antiseptic cream
  • antiseptic wipes
  • steri-strips
  • sterile pad and bandage, just the one, we haven't used ours.
  • surgical tape (to secure bandage/plasters)
  • liquid antihistamine meds for kids (doesn't live in the first aid kit but is quite useful)

To be honest, we only really use plasters and the antiseptic stuff. We've had two bigger injuries:
(1) DD fell over and did a serious scrape of both knees. We had to antiseptic wipe them and used the savlon cream to keep them infection free. Too big for plasters and they were better out in the air.
(2) I cut my finger on the blender blades and needed steri-strips. Didn't have any so have added them.

Oh and we also have a cool pack in the freezer. You can microwave it to make it a heat pad (should have bought two really) but I just keep it frozen. At school they give the kids them for any little bump (like the wet paper towel of my school days!!)

I was hoping into to just buy one with all the relevant things in it Sad
