Does someone in your house do this?

DH never uses the last of something before opening a new packet. The milk is the most common one, alongside bread and today I have noticed he has opened and used some of the new eggs even though the nold ones are sat on top of them.
I have confronted him and he always has an excuse - " there wasn't enough milk in it for the bowl" SO? "I didn't see the old bread" Really??
It's infuriating! He tried to do it with diet coke las week. Took an almost empty one out of the fridge and left it on the side, putting a full one in the fridge. I swapped them back because I knew that little bit would get wasted.
Does anyone else have this problem? I hate the waste!

Well I live on my own thank God.
But the cat is being demands more food before finishing the food in her bowl.

No, I’ve got one who puts empty packets back in the cupboard.

I think men’s brains are mis-wired TBH. Strange illogical creatures.

Yes! He is always starting a new milk before the old is finished, his excuse is that the new one is fresher. If the old one is off take it out! Don't leave it for me to deal with!

@unusualcolours I get that excuse too. Of course it is fresher, its a new one. Doesn't mean the old one is off! Just that he doesn't want to drink it.

No, thank God. That'd annoy me too. Can you somehow hide new things? Probably wouldn't work with milk but non-fridge items probably yes.
My husband keeps putting the empty coffee, peanut butter etc jars back in the cupboard...

No but my DH will see some questionable soft fruit in the fridge, and put it back incase I want to eat it! Fine if it's just a little squidgy, but if it's got hair on it, chuck it in the bin mate!

Also while I'm here, he also scrapes a big quarry into the butter, and always asks me if he can eat stuff. It's so fucking annoying! I would understand if it's a big meal item such as meat or a certain unusual item, but like biscuits or stuff like that.
Fucking eat what you want!!!!
