Car battery flat - is there any point fixing this now

I guess I won’t be the only one, but twice weekly trips to a very close supermarket and no other use at all has meant my car battery has died.

DP is a key worker and using our other car 3/4 times a week so luckily we are ok without mine for a while. Just thinking that if I get it charged or change the battery now then surely the same thing will happen again? Or is there something I can do to make sure it doesn’t?

I have one of these which is brilliant at bringing dead batteries back to life. We use old car batteries with an outboard motor. If you leave it you might find yourself needing a new battery.

If your battery will charge, then you should charge it.just do a top up charge every week to keep it on good condition.

Thank you womaninatightspot - I hadn’t thought of charging at home but that might be the best solution
