Sorry to hear she has died. Such a charismatic actress.

Charismatic is exactly right. I didn’t realise she was in her nineties, she was fabulous.

I used to love her in the Upper Hand. She was lovely.

That’s awful news, one of my childhood memories is watching her in the Bond movie on tv every Xmas, Easter etc. She was an icon.

That is very sad. I saw her once, out at the theatre. She was in her seventies then and still the most elegant and beautiful woman.

Beautiful woman with such a sexy, purry voice. I had no idea she was as old as that.

I remember her from The Upper Hand as well, always seemed a fabulous lady!

She was glorious, and has left a wonderful body of work. Didn’t she decline a damehood? (Not that it matters one way or the other.)

She was in one of the Civil Service Am-Dram societies (she was a typist at the Home Office, I believe). One of my friends has a photo of her on stage in a Greek tragedy with one of our other actresses.

Even then they knew she was going to go a long way.

Loved her in the Upper Hand too - so classy and charismatic. Just pure star quality. Was truly sad to read this today.

Oh that’s sad. I loved her in the Avengers. She always got it right - the elegant side of sexy.

I saw her in a film on Talking Pictures just the other day! I only knew it was her because of her voice, she was a very young woman in this film and I didn't recognise her.

Bless her, she has a lot to be proud of, a life well lived 💐
