Does this sound right...grammar question

*** has diagnoses of ASD and anxiety.

It sounds ugly doesn't it? But I think grammatically it's ok?

Is there a better way of phrasing?

I think it's fine. Another way of saying it:
X has been diagnosed with both ASD and anxiety.

HollowTalk · 06/04/2020 13:22

I think that's right. I can't think of another way of saying it.

bastedyoungturkey · 06/04/2020 13:23

Has been diagnosed with......

Soontobe60 · 06/04/2020 13:24

Has a diagnosis of ASD and anxiety.

cardibach · 06/04/2020 13:27

That doesn’t work Soon as there are 2 diagnoses.
I’d say what you have is fine grammatically, but it would sound less clunky if you said ‘ has been diagnosed with both ASD and anxiety’

Many thanks! Yes of course, definitely less clunky to say 'has been diagnosed with'...!
