Anyone around to cast a professional eye on DD's toe?
Since DD was a toddler, her toenail on her littlest toe has grown oddly. It looks like it's been fungal but over the years, she's been treated with topical stuff (no tablets as that treatment was considered too 'hard
Core' and besides, she was too young). No treatment has ever worked. Nothing has made a difference.
I'm pretty certain that a door opened onto DD's little foot when she was a toddler and damaged her nail bed.
We've managed its growth by cutting it and filing it down.
The nail grows upwards, like a horn.
Her little toe gets sore but, now that we are spending less time rushing around with normal living, DD and I really would like a long term
Solution. Her little toe looks so sore!
Advice please from wise MN'ers. I don't want to contact any health professionals until this current situation lifts but it would be something for DD to look forward to.
I'll attach a few pics.
