Can someone who's had an asda delivery tell me how they do it?

I live in a terrace with no front garden. In these social distancing times, will they say, leave it on the doorstep and ring me? Or will they come in with it I assume not?

I had an asda delivery today. The driver had it all in bags. I opened the door and stepped back and asked him to put it all on the doorstep. Then when he'd gone I brought it in with gloves on and wiped it all over with alcohol gel.

Similar here. I wait well inside the door for the driver to place the bags on the doorstep, then when they move back I step out to collect the bags.

Okay. Thank you :)

Do asda deliveries now have bags?

ratspeaker · 05/04/2020 22:50

They did ours last week mostly in bags. Which was handy as I had some stuff for neighbours in the order.
I believe all deliveries are done on doorstep these days, they won't come into the house.

Okay thank you. Just working out how to do it. :)
