I have 2 DD 2 and 4. We are lucky enough to have a small garden so they have been outside every day. I am definitely seeing some effects from less exerI have been trying to get them out for more exercise once or twice a week, but it is tricky. All the parks within walking distance

Sorry posted too soon. I am definitely seeing some impact of less exercise, bed times much harder and they are bickering more, pestering for snacks alot.

Have been trying to get them out for exercise once or twice a week. But local parks are small, and we usually see someone we know and trying to get my little kids to consistently obey social distancing hasn't worked.

We have no car but fortunate to live near countryside and have a bike trailer. Was thinking it is safer to take them out into the country to run around even if it means a short bike ride (about 15 min ride, mostly off road). I think this is the most sensible option, but want to observe the rules.

Would you do some indoor exercise? My daughter has enjoyed Jump Start Jonny on YouTube. He does silly dancing and games, it really gets the kids moving and is engaging and fun for them at the same time!

We are doing all that. Except Jo Wickes, my two run away shrieking if I put that on. The whole house and garden looks like an obstacle course. The little one in particular asks to go to the park all the time. I think she really misses going for longer walks. The days I have gotten them out I see a big difference in behaviour. But as I say, that is secondary to respecting the rules. It would be all kinds of shite if we are banned from exercising outside.

Apparently Oti Mabuse is doing daily dance classes online to music which are fun?

Andy work outs on ceebies are good for little kids and general disco time is good too.
